Appalachian Trail Hike '08

Derek, his brother Bobby and Bobby's friend Gary hiked around 65 miles of the Appalachian Trail last month. There were too many pictures so I created a slideshow.

Flashback Friday!!

It's time for Flashback Friday again!!
Karly's turn!

This picture was taken on 11-26-2007. She was 3 weeks old. The plan was to take a picture of her next to this hippo every month to see how she was growing (I did this with Reagan for a few months)...but unfortunately I haven't taken another one until today!!



Here she is at almost 11 months old!

Pumpkin Patch

Mimi and Papa surprised me and the girls by taking us to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin!!

Reagan was busy eating the candy necklace Mimi and Papa bought her and Karly was very sleepy.

Reagan loved picking out her very own pumpkin!

There were little black kittens hiding in the corner. Reagan loved them!!

Here comes the train!

What a cute little train! Reagan said she wanted to ride it....

She sat on it for about 30 seconds...just long enough for me to snap a couple pics. But when she realized that Mimi and Mommy couldn't ride with her and there were no other children on it she wanted OFF!!! I tried to talk her into riding it but she wouldn't...which really surprised me because she rode almost every ride at the fair. I think it was just because she was the only one on it. At least I got a cute pic!

Ok, I just have to post this!! While I was doing this blog entry, Karly was sleeping and Reagan was coloring at the table. I gave her markers to color a wooden pumpkin. So I turn around after about 10 minutes to check on her and this is what I found:

I guess I should hold off on the markers for another year or so!! Lol

Beaver Falls Waterfalls and Playground

One night, we decided to go check out the Beaver waterfalls. We had to hike down through the woods, then walk along the railroad tracks to get there.

Daddy was holding Reagan so she could throw rocks in the water. Of course I was on pins and needles the entire time...you can't tell from the pics but we were standing on the edge of a cliff.

The Obstacle Course

The girls and I babysat for a family the past couple days. They have a 4 year old girl and an 18 month old boy. Here is how the girls entertained themselves:

Karly loved having Autumn walk over her like that! And notice Reagan running circles around us? They did this for a good 20 minutes! Wish I had that kind of energy!!

Go Golden Tornados!!

Last night we walked up our street to Geneva College's Golden Tornados football game.

Reagan spotted an opening on a bench besides some older man. She climbed right up there next to him and sat there for some time. I asked him if he minded and he said "Not at all." :-)
